The gallery of documents is based on the materials of an exhibition of the same name prepared in July 2006 by the Institute for Slovenian Emigration Studies, Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Numismatic Association of Slovenia in Ljubljana. It was in the City Museum of Ljubljana.
Part taking were Boris Dolničar, Marjan Drnovšek, PhD, Matjaž Mauser, Zmago Tančič.
The exhibition and publication (2006) were financed by the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenes abroad and by the Municipal Community of Ljubljana.
The gallery of documents (2007) was prepared by Marjan Drnovšek, PhD (outline concept) and Tomaž Drnovšek (design and programming of the web page).
Archive material for the gallery of documents was contributed by The Historical Archives Ljubljana , Archives of the Republic of Slovenia and Institute for Slovenian Emigration Studies, Slovenian Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Ljubljana. Displayed picture-postcards are from personal collections of Slovenian collectors of old picture-postcards.
